We recognize that the pandemic has been challenging for all of us—socially, psychologically and economically. By some stroke of grace, mercy and more than a little tenacity, Feeding the Spirit has continued to maintain our weekly meal distribution with the exception of one single week at the very beginning of the crisis when we simply needed to regroup. This was due in large part to the generosity of members of our community, social organizations and local restaurants who have been truly amazing through it all.
However, with the continued rising cost of goods and increased safety measures necessary for meal packaging, it has become more and more costly to continue feeding our guests on a weekly basis.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
SPONSOR A MEAL
In the past, meals have been sponsored by families, businesses, church groups, local clubs, organizations, and individuals. If you would like to sponsor a meal or learn more, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out this form. The weekly meal costs $600 and feeds 200 people You can sponsor a meal for $400 to $600 -- whatever fits your budget. Each week we choose a local restaurant to provide individually packaged hot meals for distribution. In this way, we support businesses while we are supporting our guests. Feeding the Spirit remains committed to our mission At this point in time, YOUR help is needed so we may continue to serve our weekly meals in these challenging times!

Feeding the Spirit's Annual Fill A Truck Event at Z&M Motorcycles will be April 10! We will be outside the store at 10 am to fill our truck with gently used clothing, shoes, and purses. We work directly with Mission Partners to collect the donations. Mission Partners distributes the collection and reimburses us per pound collected.
Beginning Thursday, October 1, our weekly meal distribution will change to Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot at Otterbien United Methodist Church in Greensburg. All meals will be individually packed and distributed for take-out. Doors open at 4:45 p.m.
Feeding the Spirit will continue to take all precautions to practice safe social distancing. There will be 2 options for distribution: 1) Walk-Thru - Walkers may enter the side entrance of the church for pick up. 2) Drive-Thru - Those individuals in cars will gather in the upper parking lot across from the train station and will be directed to pickup the meal in the church parking lot. We are looking for the day to gather once again in fellowship hall at the church, but until then we welcome our guests on Thursday evenings outside of the church to take home a warm meal.
